Making cards for KCH is a simple, yet meaningful, way to make a difference in the lives of hospitalized kids. Using our card-making guidelines, individuals and groups of any location can make cards and then send them to KCH for distribution in hospitals. KCH distributes cards to Children’s Hospitals across the United States in all 50 states as well as Ronald McDonald Houses. The “general” cards are distributed monthly, as well as holiday cards for all major holidays.
While receiving a card may seem simple, it is truly impactful for hospitalized kids and their families. We see it time and time again. From a teenage heart transplant patient who was so moved by the cards she received from KCH during her 3 months in the hospital that she became a KCH volunteer, to a mother who chose to bury the cards with her daughter after she passed away from cancer each card is truly impactful.
