A: Absolutely. Donations help KCH spread hope, joy & magic to hospitalized kids. Donations can be made electronically or via check, and you will receive a thank-you letter and receipt.

A: Yes, we accept cards all year.
Q: Do I need to live in the US to make cards?
A: No. Everyone is welcome to make cards regardless of location. We regularly receive cards from countries such as Canada, France, and Australia.
Q: How often can I send cards?
A: As often as you’d like! We distribute general cards monthly and holiday cards for major holidays.
Q: I live in Edmonton. Can I drop off cards instead of mailing them?
A: Yes! You can drop off cards Monday – Friday during business hours at:

Q: Can I send the cards together in one large envelope or package?
A: Yes, and this is preferred as it makes sorting easier.
Q: Does KCH need cards in Spanish?
A: Yes! Spanish cards are very helpful.
Q: What is the deadline for sending holiday cards?
A: No strict deadline. Ideally 2 weeks before the holiday, but we accept them anytime. Late cards are stored for next year.
Q: Can we write “Merry Christmas” on holiday cards?
A: Yes. We also appreciate additional “Happy Holidays” or “Happy Hanukkah” cards.
Q: Should I address the card to a specific person?
A: No. Please use a general greeting since we do not know the child’s name.
Q: Should I sign my name?
A: Yes, please sign your first name. You may also include your city, e.g., “Anna from Edmonton”.
